Besides real or deep poorness you are wrong. It doesn't cost too much to clothe and feed the kids. I think dickhead parents are 100x times more common than parents who can't clothe or feed their kids.
I am not saying here that a (very) poor family should have lots of children.
But hey, there should be No Starving Kids in this world.
