Dirty F, you have seen way to many movies. The right to protect your family & yourself is a basic human instinct. Just because America uses technology instead of rocks, don't hate.
Every single post you have made in this thread is 110% stereotypical, and very far off. Granted, I'll give you a few places in the USA are a bit rough... that what you get with the USA allowing immigrants into our cities & states. Our crime rate is usually due to punk kids in a gang. Most of the gangs stay in a single area and do not affect any of us.
All in all, who do you think criminals go after in the first place? Helpless, unarmed civilians. They want the easy catch. Do you really think if I'm strapped with my 1911 45ACP, a criminal is going to try and point a tiny 9MM pistol at me? No.
