I think that is often the reason, it's just annoying and takes a lot away from the action. Also unless it's very very good music it sounds trashy.

Yes shooters talking to models can be extremely annoying unless part of the scene. It would be in amateur, in the scenario of a man shooting his partner as a prelude to sex. Gonzo needs a good personality behind the camera to make it really work. Good Gonzo stars are hard to copy.

Roald has a point, then spend more to shoot American girls or just reject girls who can't speak properly. Still a girl who is cute and has faltering English can portray herself as that. It's all about creating the illusion.

My main reason for including this dialogue is so many sites have done the dumb anonymous model scene to death and talk establishes character.
