Now, if you want to increase overall hp right from the get go, ride the new, unmod bike for about 10 miles, thump it , do whatever, then go buy a pipe, Akrapovic is pricey, but the best pipe made in my opinion for a Yamaha, then get a K&N filter, about 130 bucks, you have an instant 16 hp, average.
Then if you want a little more, with minor mods, get a Jet Kit. Then if you want to spend a little more to get dynamic results, tear it down, take the heads off and have them port and polished.
Now, still not enough, spend the $ and get a racing cam, racing lifters, racing pistons. If you have all this done, and still isnt fast or powerful enough for you, let me know, Ill hook you up with my engine builder.
