One way that I do it that makes decent money is to do keyword research on broad merchandise terms like hookahs, ecigs, airsoft, ink/toner etc. then do more research on categories of those products as well as individual product names/types. Then I just blog the same way that I blog with adult blogs except instead of linking from a naked girl pic to a FHG or tour, I link to the buy it now page of the company that I'm promoting. cj.com and Amazon are great for these types of blogs.

Look at hookahsonline.com. It's very simple but I make at least 2 sales every single day on that one, and that's on a bad day..

But that's just scratching the surface of mainstream and other people's methods are completely different
