I have a guy who owns a mainstream wordpress site and I do the updates for him, He sent me an email asking me to copy a whole load of text and pics from another website and put it on his site. When i emailed him back and said sorry i couldent do that unless he gets permission from the owner, he was shocked at my reply and could not understand why i couldent do it. When i explained about copyright laws he replied by saying copy the website banner( he meant the whole header of the site ) and put it under all the pics and text which he wanted to use from thier site, and it would be ok. I couldent believe he just could not understand the concept of using somebody elses work as stealing.
