I apologize for that. Just reading all the posts in this thread made me think otherwise. In either case, the one you were defending should pay the people she owes and by you defending her it makes YOU look bad. In the end whether it's associated with you/your program or not will make no difference because everyone will look at you/your program in a negative way.
