"Grammer" is a funny misspelling because of the context it is invariably used in.

I don't think "prolly" is a misspelling because assumably people write it intentionally. ??

This brings up an interesting point. Language evolves quite a bit over time. English evolved from German in just a millennium or so, for example. Read Old English. Why is it old? It changed of course.

Changes in grammar and spelling occur despite wide-spread resistance to those changes. For a long while people may be annoyed with a word like "ain't" or a contraction like "y'all" until suddenly it is as common as the alternative and becomes part of the official lexicon rather than slang.

An excellent example from grammar is the use of the word "were" in the subjunctive mood. When one wishes to convey the likelihood of a situation it has long been considered proper english to use were instead of was.

Example "If I were to go with you, would you be happy?"

People use was much more frequently however. Though it is considered improper English people prefer to say "If I was to go with you, would you be happy?" I'd say that the improper is well on it's way to being proper.
