The other day a friend of mine posted a story about a white girl getting raped by 5 black guys and then she wrote "Why isn't this an issue like T. Martin". It pissed me off cause I think to myself BOTH are tragedies!!! Somehow people want to belittle the fact a young man was killed who did absolutely nothing wrong.

If he beat up Zimmerman, I'd say it was well deserved. Most of us would defend ourselves if some idiot was following us around and eventually approached us. Truth is Zimmerman was going to use his gun some day in his life, no matter what. Unfortunately for Treyvon it happened to be on him.

Most people buy guns for protection, others buy them to flaunt them and act tough. Zimmerman is a perfect poster boy for someone who shouldn't own a gun. The gun gave him a set of balls to go looking for trouble that wasn't there and it cost someone their life.
Yep, if nothing else this case proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that race is still a major issue in this country.

For me this whole case will come down to the physical evidence and Zimmerman's credibility which is already badly damaged. If it appears that he was just walking back to his car to go meet the police and Martin jumped him, you can see how Zimmerman would defend himself and had a right to do so. If it appears that Zimmerman chased the kid down and confronted him which led to the fight he is going to have a much more difficult time saying it was self defense.
