the thing is: you treat diseases that hardly exist in other places (like being bipolar, anxiety, add) with meds that are hardly needed in other places and then create results that are hardly known in other places.
the US pharma industry creates an artifical demand to maintain their record profits because once you talked people into imaginary diseases they are hooked - either to fight their imaginary diseases or because the medication made them sick and they need other medication.
