According to the guys at wreckedexotics.com, the British supercar in question has been taken for a test drive in Germany but its driver has lost control of the wheel and crashed it into a tree. The result of the impact was a massive fire but happily, both the driver and passenger have escaped with their lives.
We don?t actually know if this is the refreshed version of the McLaren MP4-12C, which is wearing the 2013 model year in its name but as a quick reminder, the updated supercar is coming with the same 3.8 liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which has been improved. McLaren says that the unit is now developing 25 HP more to a total output of 616 HP compared to the current MP4-12C.
The 2013 McLaren MP4-12C will go on sale across Europe in October and its starting price has been set at 176,000 GBP (almost $275,000 USD), 7,500 GBP more than the current one.
