I don't doubt that for a second. that is why so many cases are settled out of court. The defense attorney knows their client is guilty and works to get them the best deal possible.
I would just be pissed if my attorney was telling the press that they would be shocked if I were found not guilty while the jury is still in deliberations.
I won't be surprised, based on some of the things Sandusky's attorney has said if he later appeals saying he had bad representation.
