Example:
You steal a car. You = Thief... Then you drive to my house in it, and offer that I can take it for a spin...
I then drive said car. You dont tell me its stolen... You dont put a notice on the car, that says this car is stolen! I think its YOUR CAR. You drove up in it - You didn't EXPRESSLY tell me its stolen...
