Yes, THE SHIELD was awesome. Probably the best thing FX ever made besides it's comedies. It had one slow season with Glen Close but picked up again When Forest Whitaker showed up without getting overly exploitative like most of the FX dramas.

NIP/TUCK started out good too, but was nothing but pure over the top exploitation by the time it ended.

Speaking of the THE SHIELD, has anyone been watching BOSS on STARZ? Kelsey Grammer is doing to FRAISER what Chiklis did to THE COMMISH (by doing THE SHIELD) with this show.
