I think your post was very honourable and magnanimous. And when the 'called-out' agrees with the 'call-ee' then I think everyone else's opinion is worthless.
And yes... if you had advertised as "installation of the said plugins"... that might have changed the outburst you recieved from me. But as i saw it.. you were selling the raw unchanged scripts/plugins. WHich unless you had a commercial licence.. you can't do that.
(well, some you can, some you cant, some is a shade of grey..HEAVY research is needed into each licence and you need to be bulletproof before you launch your sales thread).
BUt i have to question... were you really intending to install all these plug-ins for people?

Every troll thinks it was me that reported you. But half of these companies had already gotten wind of what was happening. What i asked them wasn't fresh news...
DOn't think for one second i launched a major investigation or tried to destroy you. I simply picked 5 companies off your list and emailed them the same question "Is this legit"... "No".. was the loud and clear answer.
SO no.. i don;t have a problem with YOU. I had a problem with what you were doing.
Now GW was going to launch a bunch of templates of our own. Some free, some premium.
With an extra twist to bring even greater value. We have shelved that now....
We know that within seconds of opening shop... someone here would buy the lot and offer them for free just to piss us off. Prolly candyflip...
As for this debacle that has happened here. Far from hurting my business or reputation it has bolstered it. It has given the red stop light to the people I don't want to work for from ever contacting me. It has given the green light to others that we don't cut corners or offer grey area services/goods....
So im sorry for the Drama Fris... BUt i am unrepentant in my actions. And you accept this, so I think we can carry on as we were before.
