There a stretch of two lane highway going North from Raton up into Colorado that is as straight as an arrow for as far as you can see. From the top of a hill on a clear day.... Its called the Gunbarrel by the locals and thats where you see the Corvettes and Mustang State Police cars, and in the 80's they actually had a Porsche Turbo. They use those cars to catch the speed freaks that drive down from Aspen and Denver just to open their cars up on that road.
Not much point for a cop to radio ahead for a roadblock when youre in the middle of fucking nowhere and theres no police for miles and miles.

150 mph (+/- about 5 mph) 67 Firebird
145 mph 86 Honda Interceptor 500 (indicated, at 12K rpm (Redline is 11.5K))

But the most intense of all is riding an old school chopper in New York City. That is adrenaline.
