I feel obligated to reply to this statement, mainly from the unhappy customer, and not to the trolls that pose here as ultimate judges of design and peacekeeping.
Customer did indeed experience issues with his custom built backend script, but it was not due to the fact that there was something wrong with our software. Its just that every software needs to be updated from time to time to coop with changes in other segments. In this case third party software elements needed to be updated to the latest version to coop with codecs used in the source video files. I hope that FreewayRick would confirm that in the recent future.
