I understand that you don't like the guy's opinions and what he advocates for, but that doesn't really stop you from making money. Also, that is an extreme example, and not one that I think the law agrees with in the USA (keep in mind that in Canada, you pay what is essentially a piracy tax on recordable media, which more or less legalizes the sharing of content belonging to business that receive money from those taxes, kind of like a compulsory license).

There is a lot of misconception here as to what fair use is what what it isn't, and I'm surprised at how content producers don't understand the laws in place that affect them. Copyright is a pretty complex set of laws, and they aren't necessarily written to always benefit the producers. I've called out a few of these mistakes in other threads but sometimes I feel like I'm just pissing in the wind.
