True story: About 1992 I started suffering panic attacks that kept me off the freeways. I could only do freeway driving if I was fairly certain nobody else would be on the road - like, Sunday, early A.M. (this was in Tulsa).
In 2000 my partner had to go to a business thingy in LA. I had lived there, in 1987. He had been there once, and did NOT want to drive there. I was like, no problem. Been there, done that, blah, blah, blah. After more than 8 years of completely avoiding freeways, I soared through LA like there was no tomorrow. It all but cured me of my phobia.
People in LA KNOW how to drive. They may seem crazy, but they're not. They know what they're doing. I would drive in LA any day over any midwestern or southern city.
And on that note, the idea that Baddog hates women...sorry, I'm laughing too hard.
