In the USA there is something called Memorial Day Weekend - this is when everything stops, BBQ is on, and the beer is flowing.
That said, I cannot give an excuse for the EU companies, unless there was some kind of a religious holiday (like 'pinse') going on.... As for Verotel - well, they are having a tough time even responding to us and our merchants, holiday or no holiday.
