Okay, so I have had this conversation with a few people and everyone seems to think I am nuts…

The whole feud seems to be overblown to me. Yes, it's very interesting, and yes, it's a very bizarre part of history. But, we're talking 12-13 murders over the course of 24 years in a time when people had 8+ children, so these must have been large families. That's one murder every two years. Just doesn't seem that much to me. If you were really feuding with a family and killing each other, why wouldn't you go balls to the wall.
