That's a flip-flop only if you think you have to choose between a) Obama is the messiah and can do no wrong or b) Obama is an undercover Islamicist terrorist. Those actually aren't the only two choices. One CAN think he's a guy, a politician, and sometimes takes liberties with the truth or behaves in strange ways.

In this case, an objective look at that facts, without trying to fit them to your agenda, tells us these things:
He was born in the US, as evidenced by his birth certificate.
He could have released that birth certificate within 48 hours of the question being brought up and it never would have been an issue.
He chose to let it go on for years, after the election, THEN release the dang birth certificate.

Those are the facts, if you think the facts flip-flop, so be it, the facts are what they are.
