You're serious.. I can tell that you are.. How about paying someone from nearby who already owns a ladder $10 or $20 to come over and spend five minutes doing the work for you?
My way:
1. Pay someone $20 to do the job
2. There is no step two because it's a better idea and costs 66% less than the way you did it. Without even taking into consideration the time you spent doing everything, fuel costs, potentially scratching or denting up your vehicle, etc.
Your way:
1. Trip to hardware store
2. Pay $60
3. Haul ladder to your home
4. Do the actual work
5. Haul ladder back to hardware store
But I'm the idiot
Say.. now that you mention it.. you wouldn't happen to be from Kansas, would you???
