I see beautiful camgirls all the time who just sit there and don't engage with chatters and will make minimal tips hourly and be gone after a couple of months. I'll also see average girls who come across as happy and energetic and know how to work an audience and get their rating up, pull in thousands month after month. Some get it and some never do.

That's why tipping platforms have become so popular with camgirls, they can make much more in a shorter period of time, but in most cases they must be willing to show in public. Many of the girls who can attract several hundred visitors to their room will turn off privates because they will actually make less if someone takes them private and it takes away their tipping time with a large viewing audience. I remember 4 -5 years ago on myfreecams, you might have seen a half a dozen girls topless. Once a few started doing more and more in public it changed the bar and forced others to do more in public to attract visitors to their room. The old adage of "pay first and then I show", is gone.
