Apparently, he's still suffering from the 1st cancer even though it's gone. Good luck fighting the 2nd and 3rd cancer (if he even makes it that far)... he might as well throw himself under a speeding train, it'd be a lot less painful than the years of agony ahead.

There's no way of sugar coating the fact that his head is going to rot away from the inside. Slowly. Right now his cancer is just taking a vacation. It's coming back, it always does... and probably sooner than expected. In the same way that you probably took a big fat steaming shit this morning, and are going to have to take another shit either tonight or tomorrow morning. It's not a death wish, it's a fact.
