I think I got turned off by protesters back in the 1990s. It was something about bike lanes, and everyone came out on their bikes and drove around in traffic, creating a mess for traffic. Basically the entire city was gridlocked for hours and we couldn't leave.
I understand it's San Francisco, and it's a very unique city and you know accept certain things when you visit. But shutting down access to the bay bridge and forcing thousands of cars to idle for hours in traffic is bullshit (and when I say "idle for hours" I mean four hours without my car moving).
That's great that this group wants to protest. But come up with a plan, some clear goals, and protest where it's going to count the most - their corporate offices and Washington DC. Don't piss off the 99% you claim to represent.
