One of the things I love about Macs is the lack of having to deal with drivers. As far as hardware goes, Apple nailed it with the PowerMac and Mac Pro line. So easy to work on.
I have a MacBook Air, love it, and recommend it, but since they're not designed to be worked on, I'm fucked if anything ever goes wrong. Doing anything to it would be a big headache. And what's the deal with pentalobe over Torx? That is like some shit that Sony would pull. Apple computers have never given me any shit, so far so good. It's still selling at the same price I got it for 6 months ago... as long as you keep your Apples in pristine condition and buy at the beginning of a product cycle, you can swap them out every X months and keep on top of the same without too much depreciation. I already get my shit cheap, so I lose even less. Mac Rumors buying guide is a great tool.
Someone mentioned a 17 inch MacBook Air... sign me up, that would be fucking mind-blowing.
