You just described my girlfriends cat. It is a male cat, and they originally planned on keeping it indoors. It used to tear the house down though if it never got out. So they had to before it ruined everything. They have lost count of the amount of small wild rabbits it's killed though.
The cat i posted above is female. So like before, i do hope it doesn't show any real interest in going outside, but i guess all cats are different so we'll just have to wait and see...
