Great idea, but after talking to sales guy is comes with an additional fuel gauge? Meaning, you were able to wire your ancillary tank to your OEM gauge primary? Also, did you install it yourself? - At what fuel level do you switch to the second tank to be safe? Finally, is that Rhino Liner in your bed rig?
Sorry to machine gun you with so many questions, but this is my first diesel and a truly awesome idea. ...
Thanks,

Hey, sorry about costing you money, lol. I had a friend install mine. He has both tanks working off the factory fuel gauge. On a trip I'll run to the low fuel idiot light before changing tanks. Around town I just flip back and forth when it gets down to a quarter. Be careful though if you run out, diesels are a bitch to restart. Have someone show you how just in case.
Yea that's a Rhino liner and it's great. Both the tank and liner were installed about 9 years ago and no problems with either. Truck's a 2002. Also took it to Banks and had them install a turbo with stainless headers and exhaust. The torque is awsome and I can bury the speedometer in seconds, lol. Plus it get's low 20 mpg on the highway.
