Funny you would say that. It seems ridiculous, but it's actually not. Many companies like FedEx or Dell DO have software systems that do 90% of the work and some small businesses have software suites that cut out 80% of the work compared to everything manually. Bankruptcy attorneys, for example, have a software package that does all the legal forms, bills the clients, etc. as do some self-storage places.

For the shooter, software could monitor model sites for new models that look promising, schedule automatic craigslist postings, track contact with models, help automate 2257 forms, and integrate with your web store to make sure you never have to enter the same information in two places.

Such packages for a specific type of small business generally run about $5K. Interested?
