People can spend time on whatever they want, but there seems like so many better things to be doing with your time than to have the same discussions everyone else has had unsuccessfully for thousands of years. Just be a good fucking person, the end. Why make any of this so confusing?
In the point of view of god, why would "he" ever care if people were married? What is marriage in his eyes? I can't imagine he would give a flying fuck about such a ridiculous man made honor system. I married my wife outside church / religion on a tropical island because we care about each other and it was a good expression of that, not because the bible said I have to marry her before we can fuck.
Just live life, you have less of it since you started this thread, people should not spend their time worrying if they are doing the right thing because of some old books, especially if they are having fun and nobody is being hurt.
