Use a lawn spreader and spread it out on your lawn and spread it heavier close to your house. Stuff is cheap. First treatment do it heavy, then once a month a light application will do. Trust me on this. After a month all the spiders will be dead or dying, after 3 months you won't have a single insect in your lawn. You need to do it monthly so any new insects heading to your house will die from walking thru it. Make sure you throw some of this DM dirt on your shrubs also. And make sure it's food grade, not the normal stuff used for pool filters. It has to be very very fine to work. Oh and wear a n95 mask when you spread it.
