I installed it and have been playing with it for the past 10 minutes or so. It's surprisingly easy to use - much better than the Apple contact manager. It's letting me merge duplicates, and it finds and binds equvalient Facebook and twitter accounts too.

Be careful during the installation process though. The default settings want to have it communicate with Facebook and twitter and other things even when you aren't using it. Fortunately it is very clear, so disabling this was painless.
