You start out by saying "cliff notes for those who can't wait to blame police.

Then you run down your "notes" and all of them except that last one backup why you think the police acted accordingly. For someone not reading the article and using the "cliff notes" YOU'RE providing (you know, the actual reason FOR cliff notes) you're implying, based on your initial comment (intentionally or not) that you're voicing a biased POV to those ready to "blame the police". ?excessive force" is very ambiguous and could be attributed to the victim OR the police but because of the slant of your post, YOU don't make it clear.
