I've said it was strange to go from one prosecutor saying there's nothing to charge him with, to one who goes right to 2nd degree murder instead of manslaughter. There had to be a reason. Overcharging is commonplace, as if it's a safety net to at least get something even if not all of it.
I wonder how many cases out of 10 would Dershowitz say were unethical? More than 5 I'd bet. Not because he's wrong or too strict, but because it's too common.
I don't think I'd conclude that it means there's nothing more. It definitely means she didnt put anything more in there. Maybe she knows the judge will accept it already as is.
