OK heres the story as I know it:

Jules orginally worked at Paul Fishbein's video store in Philly, He was a clerk. He wanted to be in porn so Paul hooked him up with IVD/Pleasure. When Jules decided to move to L.A Fish pulled the strings to get Jules in Evil Angel, After winning the copyright case Jules wanted to strike out on his own and again Fish helped him out. As Far-L knows one of the biggest hurdles in distribution is getting the guys like IVD and GVA to pay at all, much less on time, Jules never had thta problem. Thats where Paul helped the most.

So yes insofar as that goes the parting with EA was amicable.

As far as Manwin and Jules distribution staff, that wasn't a hard sell for Manwin, the people I talked to who worked for Jules despised him for many reasons, so Manwin offers them more money and they jump, no surprise there. Thats the real karma.
