Well let me explain to you in words a 10 year old will understand. As I'm sure you will find it helpful.
If we do not prosecute image theft, then the adult internet will become a place where we cannot make a living. Why buy content when you can go to any site and steal it?
Then the thieves sites with less cost, which will just undercut the legitimate sites, who will close or become thieves to survive. Then the content which is no longer being bought, will disappear . So there are no longer places to steal it from.
Which will leave the Internet full of pictures scanned from magazines.
Forget about TGP sites, earning money from design, traffic, hosting it will all go. This is why we take very seriously the theft of the one thing we really sell here. Everything else is what brings the surfer to get his CC out to jerk off to. CONTENT.
