How about most that carry guns are very situationally aware because they don't want to use their guns or deal with the problems firing a shot will create. Being aware prevents problems. Guns settle problems. Prevention is the key to any situation.
Like I posted in another thread about the same subject. Baltimore is the heroin capitol of America. When I lived in Washington DC we would be extra careful where we went in Baltimore. More than 10% of the population is looking for money to score smack! Some neighborhoods it's over 50% So you have a major drug problem and all the crime that goes with it.
But if you go there anyway be sure you're packing something, common sense, a knife, gun, mace, sober friends, world class speed in the 100 yard dash .......
