I was missing something here. If raw cannabis is not very psychoactive, and heating needs to take place for the psychoactive component of THC to be released, I didn't understand at what point the cannabis is heated in the juicing process for it to be effective?

Further inquiry revealed that there is not heating, and a person doesn't actually get the stoned affect associated with THC, but instead receives the medicinal effect from the CBDs which are present in the cannabis.

I have been vaping Jamaican Lion (Sativa) lately, which is a strain with a high CBD concentration, and find it to be a nice daytime high, so the medical effects of the CBD are a bonus.

As with many things related to cannabis, a lot more research needs to be done. As a person with auto-immune issues (I have Psoriasis, and my mother and grandmother both died in their 40's from Lupus), I have noticed that after quitting alcohol for a year now, and using cannabis daily, that my skin condition has cleared up tremendously, and my blood pressure has dropped significantly (plus I lost 80 pounds).
