Really good post. I was going to post something similar at one time, but never really found the words for it.
You shouldn't help them unless you see the favor coming back around in the future. Or, you could help them a little....Keep your enemies close, but don't give away your bread and butter. Make them find their own contacts. If they're any good, they will be able to find contacts themselves.
