Network Marketing Company, please advice.

GFY Dudes and Dudets,

I'm pretty sure you know who Randy Gage is. Saw his videos - and how he chose to work with a certain company now - to present her, while the same company is starting, before the pick, where there will be not much development will be in it.
The idea of Network Marketing is inside this organization - most of you probably heard, or watched R.G.'s videos and you know how he speaks. So I decided to get in touch with the company he's affiliated with at moment. Made contact with the guys - who seem legit (or what?!? forgive me for I'm doubtful) and they were asking me to signup with them before they let me know what I will need to do. That's was the "brake" that made me think -
What's going on in here?
- I'm having questions: what exactly you want me to do?
- Do you want me to pay some fees, or taxes, or to buy some products?
The answers were something like:
- Just signup the form and we will let you know.
- The money are not important on that part, but if you purchase some of the disks with Randy's lectures ($217) you will learn more.

Now... I'm not saying the money are not worth - absolutely not - Randy made it, he's cool and his methods are proven to be working fine. He's been on many positions due to his experience and it's fact that he's millionaire and a very, very successful guy, who's living his dream - fact. The thing that's bugging me is the company, who's affiliated with him. What do you think about that? Is it worth to give a try on that?

The company sells cosmetics and food supplies in jelly form/or something.
The guy on the other side is from Hungary and when we spoke on the phone he sound very happy to find me - when I asked him - did you made it?
Did you made it rich - he started to stutter... then he said something that Randy was saying on every lecture - you can make it in 2 to 4 years/ if you do this in 7-11 hours a week/. That means speaking with/to people.

So guys - if anyone has some experience in leverage and network marketing - does anyone have passed through this and do you think this worth the time and efforts?

What is the best option according your point of view? Do you think it's another financial pyramid and we have to go away as fast as possible?

Just want to know what you think, although I've made my mind to stop following the idea for moment.
