Works well as long as you take days off in between because you can build a tolerance rather quickly.

After using it on and off for a while I've noticed this:

When you first begin using it, you get a euphoric feeling. Couple this with the amount of clarity you'll enjoy makes you suddenly become quite ambitious. You feel like you can finally tackle all of the things you've only thought about here and there.

This ambition will lend itself to the urge for you to abuse the drug because you're getting more done. You end up committing to too many things and spreading yourself very thin because you feel like you will always function at this level. You'll want to use it more and more because you start to forget how functional you were without it.

When you stop using the drug for a while, you'll be very tired and have brain fog. This lasts for several days - you have to pay for all of that over-stimulation at some point! During this time it's easy to think you won't be able to get anything done that day so you'll take another pill just to get functional again. This just compounds the problem.

Coming off of adderall "binges" takes a good 2 weeks before you start feeling "normal" again. So keep that in mind and be prepared to deal with it when the time comes INSTEAD of putting more pills in your mouth. Please note that when I say binges I mean AMOUNT + DURATION - not just amount. My "binges" would be 2-3 weeks long (about 1 or 2days off a week) and at max 30mg per day but on average about 20mg (10mg 2x). This isn't "a lot" compared to what other people use - but it still is adderall. Don't think just because other people are slamming 100mg a day that doing 20mg a day is any better. In the end just think of it as all the same - you're taking adderall.

Also, if you're using it to get things done MAKE SURE you have a to-do list ALREADY written out in front of you. Turn off your phone, block GFY, Facebook, or anything else distracting. It's easy to get side tracked and lose a good 2-3 hours on something stupid.

One other thing I noticed after using adderall for a while. Your creativity is great at first but after a while you begin to get "tunnel vision" and are only able to focus in a straight line (for lack of a better explanation). You're so laser targeted it's difficult to see the big picture. I suppose this is normal for the drug to keep people focused but it definitely makes conceptualizing things more difficult or damn near impossible. More adderall doesn't help this!

Have fun
