I had someone who wanted to be paid via Paxum last December, so I tried to set up an account. Paxum was having some sort of funds loading sale, so it seemed like a good time. I know people take time off during the holidays, but the Paxum system wouldn't let me load automatically and nobody got back to me until after the sale was over. And Paxum rejected my ID for being expired. I realize I could have snapped a pic of another ID and uploaded it, but the whole thing just seemed like kind of a hassle.
I wish PayPal had not had that Troy Barba guy lead everyone down the garden path about subscriptions at the shows. I'm not unhappy with the settlement PayPal gave me, but it was certainly less than I lost on rebills. But the PayPal system is just the hands-down most elegant in terms of the way one can fund the account.
