Santorum represents the knuckle dragger constituency -- they are a 40% minority but a noisy one. I don't see Santorum as electable but the danger is in others adopting his positions to woo the knuckle dragger votes. This might be a harbinger of troubles ahead no matter who is elected to the Presidency.
