What I did want to do is quickly explain the Magic Member connection. As you may or may not know Magic Members is run by a lovely pair of guys over in Turkey. Unfortunately when they started they didn't actually have a product or understand what licenses were, so just "acquired" software paid someone on oDesk to put a new skin on and resold it Magic Members (Your Members), Magic Locker (Your Minder) and Magic Affiliate (wp-affiliate) were born. Unfortunately this had a couple of major drawbacks for them 1) it pissed of the original developers, 2) they had no idea how the software worked and so had even more annoyed customers.

Anyway upshot is we sort of forced them to cough up and pay a license fee to use Your Members codebase they reneged on the deal ultimately. Since then they have "modified" it and with each iteration it has become less like the original. It's worth saying they licensed our Your Members 1.4.5 codebase (and then screwed it up) the current version of Your Members is YM11.0.8. Needless to say while they may have common heritage Magic Members and Your Members are very different.
