Same thing as Mai Lai -- less organized and one soldier's work.
Osama bin Laden is dead and al-Qaeda has suffered a major setback but the complete destruction of al-Qaeda is not attainable -- you cannot destroy an idea that people believe in.
The "war," if that is what is, has been over for months now -- it is time to go. A rerun smackdown in the future will not be so lengthy ...
I really doubt any "lesson" has been learned by either side here.
There is no clear victory to be had and there never was.
