Mine did something similar. It started rebooting itself, go to the Windows logo screen like it was loading, then to blue screen, then reboot again. It would never stop the cycle unless I turned it off.
Come to find out, the computer was lacking on RAM and I was killing the hard drive by running so much on the computer. What I was told is that if you max out your computer's RAM, it partition's part of the hard drive to try and use it as RAM. I was doing this alot as I was running shit loads of stuff.
Completely fried the hard drive and couldn't get anything off of it. Learned the hard way. Now I have 3 computers, a VPS (which I run all my system resource hungry programs on), and online storage through my ISP to make sure I don't lose anything again.
