In fairness remember most of these guys "did" the drugs at one time prob many years ago.
Depressents basicly slow the heart rate and put you to sleep. Downers can do the same but some downers dont put you to sleep but "mellow" you out. If you take enough barbs you will begin to see vivid hallucinations sometimes for a second or so then gone. But that is about my expertise.
