I'm not commenting on the Juicy Ads part, but wanted to give an explanation of the US v. Euro traffic and why it's so different.

On normal sites where there isn't specific geo-targetting to gain the surfer traffic, the majority of that is smartphone traffic, about 80% as you say.

It comes down to a couple of factors but the main one is billing. In Europe they can bill to the phone which greatly improves ratios. Also, you may have noticed some Euro countries CPM has gone down, like Germany due to increased regulations, which started on 9/15/2011. So people are buying clips or weekly memberships at $4.95 and they just recur like mad.

So then that leaves the majority of your traffic, US. The conversions average about 1:1500-1:2k. I've noticed (and I've never been a tube basher with sales) that when more mobile tubes opened up that had unlimited, full-length content conversions started to worsen. Who wants to leave a free porn site to go to a paid one? Not many ... and I know this is an argument that can go back and forth but I have done tests since mobile and pad started and have watched the trends. iPad ads use to convert at 1:250 and I think it was because tube sites weren't quite compatible with tablets yet. Videos wouldn't work and it would be slow loading. My banners would say iPad optimized and be up and showing before any video loaded. Then the tubes revamped the pad and I went to about 1:700 with the same CTR.

So between having to enter all your CC info on a phone and tube sites, USA traffic is worth quite a bit less than even a year ago. I've really started to notice it over the last six months or so. There are several companies that buy redirected traffic like this that just don't want US at all.

I would suggest filtering as many countries you can to make up for the US traffic.
