It creates jobs as its cheaper to have more staff than give them more hours. To be honest I forget how that works but the cinima manager told me that.

But logicaly you create jobs.

Your logic sugests people buy what they need, not what they want.

By this I mean people may spend sunday in the shops and see stuff they want to buy.

Your logic sugests people have lots of time to shop, but say you work 9 to 5 durng the week, it means you have only sat or a bit of sunday to shop. people like to relax on sat and so may not want to go out. so that means having to get up early sunday to shop.

supermarkets are getting around the law by simply opening small shops that they are alowed to open, so its becoming rather silly now.

i remeber when the supermarkets broke the law and stayed open on sundays forcing a change of law (UK).
